Latest Covid-19 Easing News

I have been asked “when can we catch and meet outside with other members?” After listening to the Premier’s Press Conference yesterday and studying the details today, the answer is 5 people (from 2 households) can meet OUTDOORS for a social gathering as from 11.59pm on September 13th. Note that NO outdoor social gatherings are allowed right now. These restrictions will be eased ONCE the numbers get further down.
These rules are for Regional Victoria only.

Restoration News

Despite the lockdown facing most Victorians, a number of our members are getting on with both minor and major restoration work.  David Brett is one of those members and he is doing a complete restoration of an early model MGB he has christened “B3” (because it is the 3rd MGB he has bought and restored. ) Here is a sneak peek of it in his garage.  I am sure David will keep us updated.

Please send us some pics of what you are doing during this “interesting” time.  A new car?  Repair work? Restoration” Let us know.

New Website

Welcome to our new website.  This is all-new from the ground up and will allow us to more easily provide you with a lot more information.  This first version will be built on over the coming months, so come back regularly and see what’s new.

We have built a completely new photo library so have a look at some of the new albums.  These are being updated with new photos regularly.

Coronavirus Urgent Notice

The Executive Committee met last evening as we face constantly changing circumstances related to COVID-19.  It’s impact on the community, the membership demographics and the evolving risks for members participating in meetings and events was considered.  It is the collective responsibility of everyone to ensure that we act with a sense of urgency and responsibility to both ourselves and those around us in an effort to minimise the transmission and impact of the virus.

It was therefore decided:

To cancel all club  meetings and  events  until further notice.
