TRIP to EUROPE 2024
For: Mercedes Benz Club, BMW Driver’s Club, Land Rover Owners Club and Victorian Mobile Landcare Group but not limited to club members – friends of members encouraged to join.
Dates: 21 September 2024 to 6 October 2024
I am planning a trip to Europe visiting car type activities along with cultural, food and historical activities (over the
September school holidays 2024. Departure either late Friday night or Saturday, returning late Saturday or Sunday.
Basic Itinerary:
Fly to Frankfurt – return from Rome. Travel overland by bus.
Germany: Mercedes Museum, BMW Museum, Porsche, Schlumpf Museum plus any other point of interest
after consultation with the Mercedes and BMW club liaison person
Italy: Ferrari Museum, Lamborghini Museum, Vespa Museum, Alfa Romeo Museum.
Plus .. other points of interest on the way.
Visit in each country: food areas, wine areas, historical points of interest eg art galleries, monuments,
historic villages. Roman historical sites, Florence, Switzerland.
Accommodation: reasonably priced 3 star or better – depends on location and price.
Includes: breakfast and evening meal daily.
COST: between $16000 – $18000 (max)
Numbers: Minimum needed is 20 to a max of 38.
Numbers are important as more numbers reduce the overall price. With 20 people we get a guide from
Australia of Italian descent who knows Italy extremely well.
REQUIRE: Expression of interest is required ASAP – Deposit date to be advised by Flight
Centre – expect $300 by around December 2023.
With deposit will require: names of passengers, passport number, email and phone number.
