INVITATION:

Dear Rally Enthusiasts,
On behalf of the Committee of the Veteran Vintage & Classic Vehicle Club of Wangaratta I would like to
invite you to join us for our 55th Annual Spring Rally to be held on Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday
20th of September 2026.
Our host venue for this year's Spring Rally will be the Town and Country Tavern on Greta Road,
Wangaratta South, where we will enjoy an evening meal on Saturday night and Lunch on the Sunday. This
year we will be travelling along the picturesque roads of the Northeast to visit the bustling town of
Yarrawonga to enjoy a cruise of Lake Mulwala on the paddle steamer Cumberoona. We will also be
enjoying a Mystery Trivia Drive around the Wangaratta/Benalla region.
Our Schedule for the Rally is:
Friday 18th from 4pm until 6pm Registration - Register and collect your Rally Pack in main dining room of
The Town and Country Tavern. Meet and greet, enjoy a drink with new friends and those people whose
company you enjoyed in previous years. Light refreshments will be provided. Meals can be individually
purchased if you so choose, but please register your intention to order a meal at The Town and Country
Tavern on the entry form.
Saturday 19th Registration open 8am to 9am at The Town and Country Tavern - Gather at the carpark in
time for departure at 9.10am for our Rally Run. The first leg of our run will be to travel to Yarrawonga via
the back roads through Boorhaman, Peechelba and Wilby. Our luncheon will be served upon the Paddle
Steamer Cumberoona as we enjoy a cruse on Lake Mulwala. On our drive home we will stop at Lake Rowan
Cemetery to dig up some history on local identities.
Saturday Night Dinner: Will be held at The Town and Country Tavern commencing at 6.30 for a 7pm meal.
Bar facilities are available and a few lucky door prizes will add to the evening's fun.
Sunday 20th 9am start - Our venue for this morning is once again at The Town and Country Tavern. This is
the time to walk around the vehicles and cast your vote for the trophies in each category. The run this
morning will depart at 10.30am for a Mystery Trivia drive, returning to The Town and Country Tavern at
12.30/1pm for lunch and the presentation of the trophies.
Please Note;
1. Entries close 7 days prior to the Rally on Friday the 11th of September 2026.
2. Separate entry form needed for each vehicle.
3. All charges include GST where applicable.
4. Tail end "Charlie" will be there to assist.
