Paper Mills
The weather was probably the best we have had so far this year for a run. More than 20 of us headed towards Fyansford and the Paper Mills, to be joined by about 20 more members. I have been to the Paper Mills a few times before, but never had a guided tour. We were walked around the buildings for an hour by Stephen and Louisa Bath or Sue Howell and David Sinclair from the Rotary Club of Highton, depending on the group members were part of. I was hugely impressed with the detail of the knowledge and the informative and interesting way it was communicated to us. It was interesting to learn that the site was not only a paper mill, but that the Australian Defence Forces manufactured sea mines there.
A big "Thank You" to Barbara Penning and Graham Peacock for organising a great event and excellent weather! Nick (the other Nick).
